This Privacy Policy explains how FM Corporation (3535 W. Hudson Rd., Rogers, AR) collects and uses personal information through its careers site and its employee text-message (SMS) program.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide when applying for a job (such as your name, contact information, and application details).
  • Information employees provide for the text-message program, including a mobile phone number and the consent to receive messages at it.
  • Basic technical information about the device and connection you use, described under Device and connection information below.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to evaluate job applications, to operate the Employee Portal, and to send the login verification codes and portal notifications described in our Text Message Program.

Device and connection information

When you start an application, we record some basic technical information about the device and connection you are using:

  • Your Internet (IP) address.
  • Your browser's identification string, and the browser, operating system and device type (phone, tablet or desktop computer) we determine from it.
  • Your screen size, browser window size and display scale, and your device's time zone setting.
  • An approximate location — generally no more precise than a city — that we work out from your IP address.

We record this once, when the application is started, and we do not update it as you move through the form. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or any similar technology to follow you across other websites, and we do not build a profile of you from activity outside this site.

We use this information to keep the site secure and to prevent abuse (for example, to detect automated or fraudulent submissions and to limit how often verification codes can be requested), and to understand how the careers site is used so we can improve it — such as knowing how many applicants apply from a phone, so the form works well on one.

This information is not shown to the people who review your application, is not printed on your application, and plays no part in any hiring decision. The approximate location tells us only roughly where you were when you applied. It is not treated as your home address, and it does not affect whether or where you are considered for a job.

Your IP address is not sent to any outside location service. The approximate location is worked out on our own systems using a location database stored there.

AI-assisted review

Your application may be reviewed using AI-assisted tools that support our hiring team — for example, to organize, summarize or search applications. Hiring decisions are made by people, not by an automated system, and your information is not used to train any AI model. Where we use an outside AI service provider, we do so under terms that prohibit using your information to train their models. AI-assisted tools are also sometimes used by our staff while building and troubleshooting the systems that hold this information.

Text Messaging (SMS)

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for the text-message program are used only to deliver that program's messages. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Data retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. The device and connection information described above is kept with the application record it belongs to, and is retained for the same period.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about your application, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below. Some information must be kept for a period of time to meet federal recordkeeping requirements that apply to employers.
