Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination of production efforts, quality activities, and shut down activities as applicable for all shifts

Hours: B Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:45PM - 2:15AM

Pay: $22.29

Essential Functions

Job Performance

• Communicates with the Molding Manager to understand priorities.

• Monitors performance of Molding Dept. personnel and processes on assigned shift.

• Reads and interprets prints and customer specifications

• Runs production to standard cost

• Evaluates needs and records training for Dept. associates

• Prioritizing and assigning jobs to assure on-time completion of the required activities.

• Assures compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures.

• Demonstrates knowledge of Visual Mfg. System as it applies to Molding Dept.

• Must be able to read, understand and communicate using the English language, to write and effectively present information. 

• Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.

• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and instructions.

• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED (equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirement), 3 years related experience/training in applicable molding processes (in addition to any work experience), Working knowledge of Molding Dept. processes and equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment, frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs. Frequently required to stand/walk, frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

• Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas at all times.

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment; heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.

This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery and forklift traffic.
