Job Summary
Supports molding operations by monitoring process performance, making routine process adjustments, identifying quality concerns, and assisting with machine startups and troubleshooting activities. Develops technical processing skills while supporting production, quality, and safety requirements.
Hours:
A Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30AM - 4:00PM
B Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:45PM - 2:15AM
Pay: A Shift- $17.71 B Shift- $18.01
Key Responsibilities
• Independently perform molding machine startups, process adjustments, and production support activities.
• Establish and maintain approved process parameters to achieve quality and production requirements.
• Troubleshoot routine molding, quality, and production issues and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Monitor and improve cycle times, scrap reduction, and overall process performance.
• Support new product launches, sample runs, and process improvement activities.
• Assist in training and mentoring Mold Processor I employees.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to support manufacturing objectives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required - Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment; ability to independently start up and adjust molding processes; troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret work instructions and process documentation; basic computer skills; effective communication skills; demonstrated experience supporting injection molding operations.
Preferred - Experience supporting new product launches; experience using manufacturing software, ERP systems, or process monitoring tools; demonstrated experience training or mentoring employees; High School Diploma or GED.Additional Requirements
Regular and reliable attendance; ability to work flexible hours as required; willingness to perform other job-related duties as as-signed.Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate equipment, tools, controls, and computer systems. Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, forklift traffic, noise, and varying temperatures. Must use required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
