Job Summary

Responsible for assembling quality parts and sub-assemblies according to the customer's specifications.

Hours:

A Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay: A Shift- $16.00

Essential Functions

Job Performance

·  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing required assignments.

·  Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.

·  Inspects, touch up, and packs finished product in the assembly department or off paint line in finishing

·  Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies.

·  Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

·  Monitors processes and inspects product to specifications or requirements, according to work order traveler.

·  Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals

·  Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, policies, and safety regulations

·  Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals.

·  Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.

·  Must adhere to company policies and procedures

·  Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.

  

Qualifications

Entry level position, 1 year production/manufacturing experience preferred, Assembly experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

·  Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment, and constantly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, small parts, tools, or controls.

·  Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs. Constantly required to stand/walk for long periods at a time, frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

·  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

·  Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be always worn in designated areas.

·  Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.

This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery, electric tools, and forklift traffic.
